Blueprint to Pass
Pass the CSE and CALGreen with Confidence. Comprehensive practice exams designed by experienced architects.
Hi, I’m Matias Santini, a licensed architect with over two decades of experience in the architectural industry.
When I first started preparing for the California Supplemental Exam (CSE), I realized how difficult it was to find resources that were clear, concise, and actually helpful.
That’s why I created Blueprint to Pass: to provide CSE Study Resources for future California Architects, an accessible and effective way to prepare for the CSE, designed with the real challenges of aspiring architects in mind. Now, with the growing importance of CALGreen in our industry, I’ve expanded Blueprint to Pass to include practice exams and study materials for CALGreen standards.
Whether you’re preparing for the CSE or looking to strengthen your understanding of CALGreen, my goal remains the same: to simplify the process, provide the right tools, and help you succeed.

Calgreen for the CSE – July 2025!
An updated version of the original Calgreen for the CSE posted in February 2025.
I utilized the Blueprint study resource to prepare for and successfully pass the California Supplemental Exam (CSE). The questions provided were clear, concise, and closely aligned with those on the actual exam. They focused on the essential core concepts required for success, while the supplementary study materials offered valuable support in deepening my understanding. I highly recommend Blueprint to anyone seeking effective and comprehensive study materials for the CSE.
I can’t thank Blueprint To Pass enough for helping me successfully complete my testing process! The variety and quality of the questions were exactly what I needed to prepare. The detailed explanations provided at the end of each question were incredibly insightful, helping me deeply understand the test topics. These questions went the extra mile to solidify my knowledge and give me the confidence I needed to pass the CSE. I only wish I had discovered this resource the first time I took the test. Highly recommend it to anyone preparing for the CSE.
After failing my first attempt at the CSE exam, I decided to sign up for Blueprint to Pass. The study materials provided are excellent summaries of the key topics covered in the exam. The Flexiquiz questions were especially helpful for memorizing important concepts. Many of the agency-related questions on the exam were similar to those in the quizzes. Blueprint to Pass significantly enhanced what I had studied during my first attempt and gave me the confidence I needed to pass on my second try.
I passed the CSE two weeks ago on my first attempt as an out-of-state architect. The Blueprinttopass questions were the only study materials I purchased, and the rest of my study was self-guided. I thought the BTP questions were excellent and I am recommending them to others I know who are studying for the CSE.
Hi Matias,
I just wanted to share some exciting news with you—last Tuesday, I passed the CSE exam!
I give a lot of credit to your Blueprint to Pass practice exams. They truly prepared me for the real feel of the test, and the content was incredibly comprehensive, covering all the sections and key topics in depth. The study mode was fantastic—you get immediate feedback on your answers, and I really appreciated the little memory tricks, like “D for Down or Flat” for wind or “G for General or Go Ahead” . Those simple tips stuck with me and made studying so much easier.
I also want to thank you for offering such an amazing resource at such an accessible price point. It’s clear this program comes from a real commitment to help future architects succeed rather than just a business goal.
I’ll be officially licensed in a few weeks, and I’ll definitely remember, and recommend, your program to others. I have a few friends from Chile here in the Palm Springs area, and we often talk about the value of giving back, something I see reflected in what you do.
This was my first try. And passed. Studied for about 8 weeks, 2 hours a day and the week before the test 4 hours a day and like 6 or 8 on saturday and some more on Sunday. The test is not easy. But if you study all your content and do all the practice tests for ALL of the sections (it takes time, almost like the real exam, 2 hours or so or more each) you certainly can pass.
