Having devoted over two decades to the architectural industry in the US, I embarked on the journey to become a licensed architect. My strategic approach to licensing, which I call my 'blueprint to pass' the exams, consisted of three key steps:

  1. Practice Tests: Since I had years of experience I wanted to focus on what I didn’t know. Practice tests were crucial for pinpointing focus areas, allowing me to tailor my study plan effectively.

  2. YouTube: Whenever I encountered new concepts, technologies, or materials, YouTube was invaluable for deepening my understanding through a diverse range of informational content.

  3. Books: As a visual learner, I find reading challenging (I am a big “Audible” customer), but having a foundational knowledge made the process more accessible and enriching. Books offered new perspectives and additional information, which often led me back to YouTube and other great resources like Architectural Record, the AIA, ArchDaily and more, for further exploration.

Now, as a licensed architect and the principal of the Architectural Department, where I also coordinate the Building Design Division (encompassing planning, structural, and architectural departments), my work is fueled by a commitment to sustainable and innovative architectural solutions.

After I passed the NCARB exams, I noticed there wasn't a variety of places to study and practice for the CSE. It is my goal to help fill the gap and make it easier to learn.

Our platform offers comprehensive practice exams, crafted to bolster confidence in CSE preparation. In the short future we will also provide study materials and interactive tools to further your understanding of the study material for the CSE exam.

This adventure began with approaching Elif Bayram from www.arequestions.com and joined forces to enrich the architectural community's learning resources.

As Elif Bayram does with her “arequestions.com”, I’m also aiming higher than to be just a quiz-taking website. I am currently working on developing additional tools and information to further improve the knowledge this website provides.

Matias Santini

I am originally from Chile, born in Valparaiso and raised in Viña del Mar. I first moved to the US in the 2001, fell in love with this country, met the woman who’s been my wife of almost 20 years. We have 2 kids, 2 labs, 2 fish, a bunny and a bearded dragon!

I had the opportunity to work with great architects at small firms. I have worked in projects including commercial, industrial, private, retail, and residential.

I currently work in Santa Rosa, California, along side my team of engineers, surveyors, and septic and planning specialists at Hogan Land Services.
